Type Rating – Robinson R66

The Robinson R66 Type Rating course qualifies pilots to operate a modern turbine-powered helicopter. Combining excellent performance, comfort, and operational efficiency, the R66 is widely used for both private and commercial helicopter operations.

The course includes aircraft systems, turbine engine operation, aircraft performance, normal and emergency procedures, and practical flight training focused on safe and efficient aircraft handling.

Course programme

• —17 hours of theoretical training
• —5 hours of practical flight training

Upon successful completion, pilots receive the Robinson R66 Type Rating.
