Type Rating – Robinson R44

The Robinson R44 Type Rating course qualifies pilots to operate one of the world's most popular helicopters. The R44 is widely used for flight training, private flying, commercial operations, and specialised missions, making this rating a valuable addition to any pilot's qualifications.

The course covers helicopter systems, aircraft limitations, normal and emergency procedures, and practical flight training designed to ensure safe and confident operation of the aircraft.

Course programme

• —9 hours of theoretical training
• —5 hours of practical flight training

Upon successful completion, pilots receive the Robinson R44 Type Rating.
